Ancient Trance Festival is a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity and the art of music, organized by the dedicated team of Maultrommel e.V. The festival aims to preserve handmade cultural techniques, featuring unique instruments like the jaw harp. It bridges traditional sounds from various ethnic roots to modern ecstatic world music, creating a rich audio experience for attendees. The festival not only provides a platform for musicians but also fosters a community focused on inner growth, respect, empathy, and love.

Organized through a sociocratic circle structure, Ancient Trance Festival ensures every voice is heard and valued, promoting collaborative decision-making. Volunteers play an essential role in bringing this vision to life, contributing to an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness. The festival offers workshops, interactive sessions, and a unique opportunity to engage with others in an enjoyable and mindful environment. Through this annual event, Ancient Trance Festival seeks to inspire change, personal development, and sustainable practices for a brighter, more connected future.
