About Dr Mauricio Melhado
Dr. Mauricio Melhado is a cardiovascular care practice serving the greater Wellington area and West Palm Beach. Since 2004, Dr. Melhado has provided medical care with a family-centered approach, emphasizing the importance of applying medical knowledge thoughtfully to each patient’s needs. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Salvadorena Alberto Masferrer in San Salvador, El Salvador, and completed his internship and residency at Staten Island University in New York. His cardiovascular disease fellowship was completed at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, New York Medical College. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular CT and CT coronary angiography, and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography.
