Maestro Maurizio Gallo is an Italian copper artist and artisan based in Montecorvino Rovella, in the province of Salerno, where he was born in 1963 and continues to live and work. His practice grew from a family tradition: after completing compulsory schooling, he learned in his father’s workshop, where his father passed on both a passion for copper and the techniques of working it by hand. Gallo’s work reflects this craft heritage and includes artistic copper pieces created for public and private collections, in Italy and abroad.
Among his projects are copper-leaf works made for Central Park in New York and copper plates for Boston. The artist’s website presents photographs of his creations alongside biographical information and certificates, offering visitors an introduction to his work and career. Through his distinctive focus on artistic copperwork, Gallo brings traditional artisanal skills to works intended for collectors and public settings.
Based in Italy, he welcomes inquiries by telephone or email
