Maxannu is a French general-purpose web directory designed to help people discover websites and help site owners improve their online visibility. It organizes listings into more than 600 categories, covering areas such as shopping, business, news, education, technology, health, property, entertainment, sport, and travel. Visitors can browse categories, explore popular and recently added sites, review top-rated or active listings, and use the directory’s search engine to find relevant resources.

For webmasters, Maxannu offers free site submissions and promotes each submitted website with ten permanent, direct links, according to its site description. Submitted listings are organized by category and selected for relevance and quality. The platform also provides directory statistics and sections for partners, news, and member management. Its broad range of subjects makes it a resource for users seeking websites across different interests and niches, while its listing service is aimed at site owners looking to increase discoverability. Maxannu presents itself as a practical directory focused on connecting online audiences with a diverse selection of websites.
