The platform terminates TLS at the network edge and keeps cached objects available across 14 regions. Customers can get started by directing a CNAME to Hexcast, without installing agents or rewriting application code.

Its two-level caching system routes edge-node requests through a regional intermediate layer before reaching the origin. This means a cold object requires one request per region rather than one request per individual node. Hexcast also automates certificate issuance and renewal for primary domains and wildcard subdomains, with the option to upload a custom certificate chain when required.

For cache management, customers can invalidate content through an API by path, prefix, or key, with changes distributed across points of presence.
