About May '40 Miniatures
May ’40 Miniatures is a specialist retailer and miniature brand focused on highly detailed figures in 28mm (1:56) scale. Launched on 10 May 2016, it is particularly associated with Dutch soldiers and military subjects from the Second World War, including Dutch forces and Fallschirmjäger. Its own product range includes infantry squads, command figures, support weapons and vehicles such as the Landsverk M36, alongside miniatures representing the Dutch East Indies campaign.
The online shop also offers products from other manufacturers, with categories covering Warlord Games, Great Escape Games, Rubicon Models, Victrix Miniatures and other miniature and gaming ranges. Customers can browse scenery, rules and scenario books, hobby materials, bases, merchandise and historical or fantasy-themed products. The site features new releases, sale items, a newsletter and community links to a May ’40 Facebook group and Discord server. May ’40 Miniatures presents itself as a resource for miniature wargamers seeking figures and supporting hobby products, with customer testimonials noting its service, communications and shipping.
