Maya Universe Academy

Maya Universe Academy is a Nepal-based education and community development organisation founded in 2011 by young people seeking to challenge the country’s education system. It runs a chain of free private schools designed to expand access to quality education for children in rural communities. The academy connects learning with broader goals of prosperity and opportunity, while involving local communities in its work.

Its initiatives include community-driven income generation and efforts to address poverty, alongside education programmes. Maya Universe Academy also offers ways for people to get involved through volunteering in teaching, agriculture, and construction. Supporters can sponsor a child, contribute donations, or explore other sponsorship opportunities. The organisation shares information about its mission, sustainability model, team, fellowship, social enterprise, projects, and community experiences through its website and an information pack. With a focus on education and local participation, Maya Universe Academy brings together schools and social initiatives to support children and rural communities in Nepal.
