Maysoon Zayid is a comedian, writer, educator, speaker, and disability advocate whose work uses humor to make conversations about identity and inclusion engaging. She offers stand-up comedy, keynote talks, moderation, hosting, and panel appearances, as well as coaching in comedy, public speaking, disability advocacy, speechwriting, and ghostwriting. For colleges and organizations, her offerings include guest artist and professor appearances, interactive workshops on comedy, communication, and inclusion, and curated comedy nights.

Through her production company, CanCan, Zayid has produced Advice You Don’t Want to Hear and DisCo, a globally touring disability talk show filmed in English and Arabic that amplifies local disabled voices. Her stated mission is to create authentic comedic stories about disability and employ disabled talent both on screen and behind the scenes, prioritizing paid work over charity. Zayid is also an author whose work includes books, anthologies, blogs, and articles.
