Μαζί σου

MAZI SOU is a charitable, nonprofit association based in Kastoria, Greece, supporting children and adults affected by neoplastic disease and their families. Founded in February 2010, the organization relies on the voluntary work of its members and aims to help people navigate the practical, emotional and social challenges associated with cancer.

The association provides moral, material and social support to patients, while strengthening and assisting their families. It offers practical guidance on matters such as health insurance funds and hospitals, and advocates to relevant authorities for improved medical, psychological and social care. MAZI SOU also works to reduce patients’ social isolation and challenge prejudice surrounding the illness.

To inform and engage the wider community, the association organizes lectures, discussions, publications and other events. It also communicates and cooperates with related organizations and associations in Greece and abroad. Through its activities, MAZI SOU seeks to ensure that patients and families feel supported and better equipped to address difficulties arising from the disease.
