McHenry Baseball Association (MBA) is a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization serving children in the McHenry school district through organized baseball. Its programs aim to build baseball skills and knowledge while encouraging character, sportsmanship, and community spirit. MBA offers recreational, in-house baseball for children ages 5 to 16, with divisions listed from Shetland for ages 5–6 through Palomino for ages 17–19, as well as a Challenger program.

Players seeking a more competitive experience can participate in tournament teams that play against teams from other towns. The association also supports a travel baseball program for players ages 9–18. Beyond player programs, MBA provides information and resources for coaches and umpires, including coaching guidance, pitching guidelines, practice resources, and bat and division rules.

It organizes registration, events, schedules, scores, and standings, and shares field status and game-cancellation updates. MBA’s fields are maintained through volunteer effort, support from local VFW Post 4600, and community donations. The association also welcomes sponsors for teams and field banners, and recruits volunteers, including Challenger program helpers and umpires
