About Mchiwandamirafoundationorg
The Margaret Chiwandamira Foundation is dedicated to empowering children with disabilities in Zimbabwe by promoting inclusive education, healthcare, and community engagement. Established in honor of the late Mrs. Margaret Chiwandamira, the Foundation carries forward her legacy of resilience and advocacy for disability rights.
Recognizing the challenges faced by persons with disabilities, the Foundation works tirelessly to ensure that girl children in particular receive the support they need to thrive. Through resource mobilization and the backing of the Mukuwapasi Children's Centre, the Foundation creates an inclusive environment that fosters personal growth and community involvement. Their initiatives include mobilizing resources for inclusive schools and clinics, as well as providing advocacy, knowledge, and skills acquisition programs.
Guided by values such as compassion, equity, inclusion, excellence, partnership, and advocacy, the Foundation aims to be a beacon of hope for individuals with disabilities and their families. Through active community engagement, they invite support and involvement to facilitate meaningful change in the lives of children with disabilities
