About MDDI Singapore
MCI, short for the Ministry of Communications and Information, is a government agency in Singapore. Their mission is to connect people to their community, government, and opportunities through trustworthy infrastructure and technology. MCI oversees various sectors such as infocomm media, cyber security, and design.
They are also responsible for the national library, national archives, and public libraries, as well as the government's information and public communication policies. MCI consists of several agencies, including the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), National Library Board (NLB), and Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC). These agencies work together to ensure the development of resilient infrastructure, safe cyberspace, vibrant cyber ecosystem, and strong international partnerships.
In addition, MCI focuses on digital readiness, infocomm media, libraries, personal data protection, and public communications. They offer opportunities for careers, job vacancies, and scholarships in government communications work.
