McKay Nursery

McKay Nursery is a Wisconsin-based plant grower and retailer with more than 125 years of horticultural experience. Its plants are cultivated on a 1,600-acre farm in Waterloo and sold online, with in-person shopping available at garden centers in Oregon and Oshkosh. The catalog includes perennials, trees, evergreens, shrubs, vines, ornamental grasses, groundcovers, and edible plants such as fruit trees, berries, strawberries, and vegetable plants. Customers can browse by growing zone, garden type, or plant care needs, and explore collections for native, shade, drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and pollinator-friendly gardens.

McKay Nursery carefully packages and ships live plants, provides a plant warranty, and offers customer support for questions about orders and gardening. Its website also features plant information, green tips, gardening guides, and resources to help customers plan and care for their landscapes. Additional services include landscaping support, a design portfolio, and connections with landscape designers. The company also offers wholesale production, gift certificates, and seasonal preorders, helping gardeners and trade customers find plants suited to their projects.
