Merri Creek Management Committee is an environmental organisation dedicated to protecting and improving Merri Creek and its surrounding landscapes in Victoria. Its work spans the creek’s catchment, waterways, grasslands, parklands and wildlife habitats, with a focus on ecological restoration, community participation and environmental education. The committee works with member organisations, Friends groups, volunteers, schools and local communities, and acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung People as Traditional Owners of Merri Country.

Merri Creek Management Committee offers professional services including ecological surveys, revegetation and remnant restoration, and strategic waterway and open-space planning. It also delivers education programs for schools and community groups, including Waterwatch activities and citizen-science water monitoring. Practical projects address stream health, litter, habitat networks and significant natural sites. The organisation supports volunteering, corporate volunteering, community events and fundraising, and provides resources such as publications, reports, digital materials and catchment information. Through these activities, it helps people learn about local biodiversity and take part in caring for the creek and its environment.
