Mömlinger Carneval Verein 1953 e.V. (MCV) is a carnival association based in Mömlingen, dedicated to preserving and sharing the town’s distinctive carnival traditions and their cultural heritage. Founded in 1953, the club works to protect local customs, revive cultural practices, and pass them on to future generations, especially young people.

MCV brings the community together through a varied program of seasonal events and performances. Its carnival activities include formal celebrations, public festivities, street carnival, youth events, and gatherings for carnival groups. The association features dance and show groups spanning several ages and styles, including the Prince’s Guard, children’s and youth guards, show dancers, dance soloists, a women’s group, and a men’s ballet. Its program also includes speeches, ceremonial appearances by carnival princes and princesses, and group meetings.

Beyond live events, MCV shares photographs, videos, reports, and historical material from past seasons, with archives reaching back to 1953. The club also hosts community gatherings, including seasonal beer-garden events, and provides information about its activities, calendar, membership, and association history.
