About Maison de la Gare
Maison de la Gare (MDG) is a Senegalese association dedicated to finding sustainable solutions to the issue of talibés in Saint-Louis, Senegal. We aim to improve the lives of these children by providing them with support and opportunities for integration into society. MDG was founded entirely by Senegalese individuals who were driven by a desire to enhance the living conditions of talibés.
Our organization has a rich history, which began at the former train station in Diamaguene and has evolved over time. If you are curious about how MDG came to be, we invite you to explore our history page, which features a collection of photos that document our journey.
Volunteering has played a pivotal role in supporting MDG's mission since its inception. Thanks to dedicated and dynamic volunteers, we have been able to establish a network of international partnerships.
