About Maryland Stadium Authority
The Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) is a renowned brand that was established by the General Assembly in 1986. Initially, their mission was to construct, manage, and maintain top-notch facilities to retain major league baseball and bring back NFL football to Maryland. However, the MSA's commitment extends beyond sports.
They strive to enhance the overall Maryland experience for residents, workers, and visitors alike. Presently, the MSA oversees various projects, including the 21st Century School Buildings Program and Project C. O.
R. E., a commendable initiative that focuses on demolishing blighted structures in Baltimore City. In addition to their core responsibilities, the MSA houses the Maryland Sports commission, which has been promoting sports activities in the state since 2008.
Located in the heart of Baltimore's Camden Yards Sports Complex, the MSA benefits from convenient access to major transportation routes, making it easily reachable by interstates, trains, bike trails, and bus lines. Additionally, the complex is connected to the BWI Airport and Amtrak via light rail, and the Inner Harbor is just a short walk or water taxi ride away. For over 35 years, the Maryland Stadium Authority has continually played a pivotal role in shaping Maryland's recreational landscape
