About MeCycle
MeCycle is a modern recycling company that was founded in 2020 by a husband and wife team who couldn't ignore the plastic pollution they witnessed on their walks along the Long Island Sound during the pandemic. Motivated by their shared concern, they embarked on a year-long journey of research and testing to find innovative solutions for improving recycling. While they acknowledge that MeCycle can't solve every recycling issue, they remain determined to make a significant impact during their lifetime.
The passionate team at MeCycle is led by Mark Manley, the founder and CEO, who brings his expertise in clean technology to the company. Ainslie Simmonds, the co-founder and COO, utilizes her technology background to develop a tech-enabled customer experience. Leslea Snyder, the Head of Policy, provides valuable insights with her extensive policy and government relations experience.
