About MED-GEM Network
MED-GEM is an EU-funded initiative dedicated to fostering the growth of Green Electrons and Molecules (GEM) in the Southern Mediterranean region. Through collaborative activities and dialogue with key energy stakeholders, MED-GEM aims to establish a sustainable network that promotes the development of the GEM industry, focusing on Renewable & Green Hydrogen. The project operates through four coordination groups covering policy, industry, infrastructure, and financial support.
By harmonizing energy policies, facilitating investments, and raising public awareness, MED-GEM supports a clean energy transition and sustainable energy economy. With a focus on capacity building, financing mechanisms, and technology deployment, the project seeks to address market barriers and create opportunities for stakeholders in the region.
