**Brand Description for いわきメダカの学校**

いわきメダカの学校, located in the historic former Minami-Odaira branch school in Iwaki City, Japan, is a unique facility dedicated to the breeding, display, and sale of diverse medaka (Japanese rice fish). Established in May 2022, the school utilizes the original classroom setting, creating an engaging environment that blends education with aquatic life. Visitors can explore a variety of medaka species showcased in artistically designed tanks and participate in hands-on events that enrich their understanding of aquaculture.

The school emphasizes education by collaborating with local institutions to teach about medaka ecology and environmental themes. It also offers a subscription service for those who wish to enjoy the beauty of medaka at home without the long-term commitment of ownership. Special events, such as medaka catching and themed festivals, are periodically organized, transforming the old school grounds into vibrant community hubs. いわきメダカの学校 combines passion for aquatic life with a commitment to conservation and education.
