Medford Cooperative

Medford Cooperative is a Wisconsin farmers cooperative serving households, farms, and communities for more than 115 years. Founded in 1911, it operates on the principle of member and customer benefit, sharing a portion of its annual success through patronage for qualifying purchases. The cooperative brings a broad range of products and services together under one organization, supporting everyday needs as well as agricultural operations.

Its retail division includes three grocery stores, four convenience stores, and two ACE Hardware locations. Agricultural services cover crop nutrients, crop protection, seed and seed treatment, animal nutrition, grain services, and cash bids. The energy division supplies propane, refined fuels, and lubricants, and provides Cenex convenience-store conversions. Medford Cooperative also offers IT solutions through Norfinity.

Beyond its commercial services, the cooperative supports local communities through employee volunteering, fundraising, and donations to organizations across its territory. Its cooperative model connects customer spending with local investment and returns, while helping provide goods, services, employment, and support for farms and communities.
