Cloudflare Stream is an all-in-one managed video platform from Cloudflare, designed to simplify the complete media workflow for live and on-demand content. Through a unified API, customers can upload video, store and automatically encode it into multiple formats and bitrates, then deliver and play it through Cloudflare’s global network. The service reduces the need to assemble complex infrastructure or rely on multiple vendors, and offers straightforward pricing based on minutes stored and delivered.

Stream supports direct and API-based uploads, a built-in player or integration with a customer’s own player, and live streaming with RTMP or SRT ingestion and HLS or DASH playback. Its capabilities serve educational platforms, journalism, worship services, sports broadcasting, live events, AI-generated media workflows, and distribution across web, mobile, and social platforms. Customers can also resize, crop, and repackage videos for different destinations. Built on Cloudflare’s network, Stream aims to provide global reach, reliable delivery, and lower bandwidth costs, allowing teams to focus on their content rather than managing video infrastructure.
