Médiathèque Desvres is a public library serving residents of Desvres and surrounding areas from its location on Rue des Potiers. Its collection and online catalogue support readers of different ages and interests, with dedicated sections for adults, young readers and teenagers, as well as games. Visitors can explore books, DVDs, music and digital resources, discover weekly recommendations, and browse new arrivals through the library’s website.

An online account provides access to catalogue features, including search history, while the Biblix mobile application offers a convenient way to use the library on the go. The médiathèque also organizes activities and events throughout the year, such as science celebrations, relaxed reading sessions, story times for babies and children’s events. On-site consultation is free.

Membership is free for Desvres residents; fees apply to visitors from outside the town, with different rates for adults and people under 16. The library welcomes visitors during scheduled hours from Tuesday to Saturday and provides contact information and practical details online
