By conducting genetic mapping of Apis mellifera subspecies across participating countries—such as Algeria, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey—MEDIBEES seeks to identify the traits that enable these bees to thrive amid climatic challenges.
