About Global Brigades
Global Brigades is the largest student-led movement for global health. They are an international non-profit organization that empowers communities to meet their health and economic goals through the collaboration of university volunteers and local teams. Their main focus is to implement sustainable health systems in under-resourced communities in Honduras, Panama, Guatemala, Ghana, and Greece.
These communities would otherwise have limited to no access to healthcare services. Medical Brigades, a part of Global Brigades, is an international movement that involves students and medical professionals working alongside local communities and staff. They aim to provide a prescription for sustainable health by implementing holistic health systems.
