The International Medical Geology Association (IMGA) is an affiliated organization of the International Union of Geological Sciences that connects specialists working at the intersection of Earth science and public health. Its international network brings together geologists, earth and environmental scientists, toxicologists, epidemiologists, and medical professionals to examine how geological processes and materials affect human populations.

Medical geology is a multidisciplinary field focused on links between the Earth’s chemical, biological, and physical environments and health conditions.
