Medicine Hunter

Medicine Hunter is an integrated enterprise founded by Chris Kilham, known as the Medicine Hunter. Dedicated to expanding the field of natural, plant-based medicines, Medicine Hunter engages in a wide range of activities. From expeditions and field research to TV appearances and training seminars, they are committed to promoting natural, plant-based medicines, protecting the natural environment, and supporting indigenous cultures.

Partnering with various companies, Medicine Hunter investigates medicinal plants, develops and markets plant-based remedies, and promotes trade between people in the field worldwide and companies in the US, Europe, and Asia. Through their partner companies, they ensure the safe and effective availability of plant-based medicines to a growing number of people, supporting sustainable trade and benefiting the natural environment while aiding the economic conditions of native people globally. Medicine Hunter conducts in-depth research, gathering information on the historical and traditional uses of plants, as well as their composition and biological effects.

They establish contact with botanical organizations and experts, travel to areas where medicinal plants are cultivated or collected, interview native people and experts, and document their findings through photographs and video footage. With a comprehensive approach to botanical development, Medicine Hunter investigates and assesses the chain of trade from field to port, identifies sources, minimizes trade risks, and actively facilitates product development opportunities. They also create marketing materials, conduct dynamic seminars, and promote awareness campaigns to communicate the value of botanical medicine.

Overall, Medicine Hunter is dedicated to promoting and advancing the field of natural, plant-based medicines through research, trade partnerships, and education
