About Medici pentru România
Medici pentru România is a non-profit and non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the Romanian healthcare system. Since October 2019, they have been actively involved in projects and campaigns aimed at addressing real issues in the healthcare system. Their main objectives include improving the conditions in state medical facilities through renovation and rehabilitation projects, establishing a policy lab focused on public health policies, providing guidance and support to doctors who want to return to Romania, and building a community of medical professionals and experts in Romania and the diaspora.
Medici pentru România believes that every child deserves the best medical care and is currently focusing on the Pentru copiii noștri project, which aims to renovate and upgrade five pediatric sections in state hospitals. By donating 2 euros per month or through online donations, individuals and businesses can contribute to this important cause. Medici pentru România is also dedicated to encouraging vaccination and providing testing and assistance to the Romanian diaspora.
