Méditerranée Air Training is a flight training organisation based at Montpellier-Méditerranée International Airport in Mauguio, France. Established in 1994 as an offshoot of CIAM, founded in 1981, the school combines decades of aviation experience with a family-oriented approach. It reports having trained more than 2,500 airline transport pilots, with a success rate close to 100%. Its pedagogical manager has accumulated more than 26,500 flight hours, including over 18,000 as a professional instructor. The organisation has worked with partners including CEV, EPNER, Airbus, Dassault Aviation and the French Air Force.

The school offers pilot qualification renewals and revalidations for SEP, MEP, IR-SE and IR-ME ratings. Through competency tests, it helps pilots extend a rating’s validity or regain validity, with requirements depending on the qualification. For example, SEP renewal may involve recent flight experience and instructor training, while MEP renewal includes a competency check and specified flight or simulator experience.
