"Meduzot Ba'am" is an innovative Israeli app dedicated to enhancing beach safety and scientific research regarding jellyfish in the Mediterranean. This user-driven platform allows swimmers, divers, and beachgoers to report jellyfish sightings in real time, enabling others to avoid potentially painful encounters with jellyfish swarms. The app aggregates data from both casual beach visitors and dedicated 'gold users'—those who frequently engage in water activities—providing a comprehensive jellyfish risk map that offers on-the-spot updates about which beaches are safe to visit.

Beyond ensuring a more enjoyable beach experience, "Meduzot Ba'am" actively contributes to citizen science, helping researchers better understand jellyfish behavior and their impact on marine ecosystems. The project aims to disseminate knowledge about jellyfish species, stinging prevention, and emergency care through accessible resources, fostering an informed community dedicated to coastal stewardship. Whether you're a beach enthusiast or a casual swimmer, joining this initiative empowers you to maximize your summer fun while minimizing risks associated with jellyfish encounters.
