Meerjungfrauen Schwimmschule

Münchner Meerjungfrauen Schwimmschule is a mermaiding school offering themed swimming experiences for children and adults at venues across Bavaria. Its two-hour introductory courses are open to confident swimmers aged six and older and include a warm-up, instruction in basic monofin swimming techniques, a loan mermaid tail and an underwater photoshoot with three images. Sessions are offered in Munich, Unterschleißheim, Prien am Chiemsee, Memmingen and the Obernsees thermal spa; courses near Augsburg are expected to resume when the Titania facility reopens.

The school also runs advanced sessions covering breath-hold techniques, swimming refinement, underwater ring-blowing and posing for photographs. In Munich, participants can join ongoing training courses featuring technique and safety practice, games and choreography in small groups. The business also caters to mermaid-themed children’s birthdays, hen parties and events, and offers introductory try-out sessions. At some events, visitors can test rental tails and receive advice on choosing a suitable model and size. Courses are available by advance registration, with schedules and locations varying.
