Meeting of the Lord Retreat Center Inc. is developing an Orthodox Christian village and retreat center on California’s Central Coast, a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. Its mission is to offer a place of spiritual refuge where people can encounter Christ and find renewal through the life and ministries of the Church.

The project is planned in stages, beginning with acquiring the land and establishing St. John House for Healing, a church-governed rehabilitation home combining daily prayer, supportive programs, and agrotherapy. Future plans include a chapel, chandlery, agricultural programs, retreat accommodations, and spaces for year-round hospitality.

Proposed activities include spiritual retreats, quiet reflection, hiking, educational opportunities, and rest for clergy and their families. The center also aims to develop an orchard, apiaries, a communion wine vineyard, livestock, and farm goods using regenerative practices, with agriculture serving both the community and its healing programs.
