Meet the Animals

Meet the Animals is a mobile interactive animal experience serving communities across the South West of Western Australia, from Harvey and Australind through Bunbury and Margaret River to Manjimup. Founded by qualified, experienced zookeepers Mike and Rhonda, the business draws on their combined experience of more than 40 years in zoos, wildlife parks, conservation centres, farms and animal care. Animal welfare, education and respectful encounters are central to its approach.

The team brings a changing selection of native and domestic animals to schools, childcare centres, aged-care facilities, libraries, community groups, holiday programs and private or corporate events. Guests can meet and learn about a variety of species, which may include snakes, frogs, birds, reptiles, small mammals and invertebrates. Each supervised presentation lasts approximately 75 minutes and is designed to encourage curiosity, empathy and confidence while providing safe, hands-on interaction. Meet the Animals also offers guidance on pet suitability and care, animal phobias, and what to do when injured wildlife is found.
