About Meet the Israelis
Meet the Israelis is a nonprofit organization based in Jerusalem, Israel, dedicated to promoting education and understanding of the diverse people, communities, and political views coexisting within Israel. Through open and respectful conversations with members of different communities, participants are exposed to a wide range of opinions and views, fostering dialogue, tolerance, and breaking stereotypes. Since its inception in 2017, Meet The Israelis has engaged over 3000 participants through over 70 group presentations.
The organization's vision is a world where humanity values and appreciates the complexities of Israel's political, religious, and cultural landscape. Their mission is to facilitate meaningful dialogues that engage various audiences on the complexities surrounding land, religion, race, and culture in Israel, with the goal of healing fractures in Israeli society by fostering understanding and compassion.
