Megan Dix Photography is a Maryland-based photography brand led by Megan Dix, specializing in genuine, relaxed imagery with a documentary approach. Based in Gaithersburg, Megan photographs weddings, engagements, and elopements throughout Maryland and the DMV, including Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. She is also available for destination celebrations farther afield. Her work brings together candid, unscripted moments, portraits, and thoughtful details to capture both the atmosphere of an occasion and the people at its heart.
The experience extends beyond taking photographs: Megan offers guidance from the initial inquiry through planning and gallery delivery, helping clients prepare for sessions and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Wedding packages include a second shooter, and clients receive carefully edited images in an online digital gallery; unedited files are not provided. Megan works with digital cameras as well as 35mm film, bringing a creative range to her photography. Travel is included within 50 miles of Gaithersburg, with additional fees beyond that area. Destination pricing is available for events more than two hours away.
