Kindernest Schneckenhaus is a small childcare provider in Marbach am Neckar, Germany, offering care for children aged one to three. Its welcoming setting is designed with attention to detail and coordinated colors, and is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of town, in a terraced house with a terrace and garden. The children’s group is limited to nine, creating an intimate environment for play, shared experiences, and learning from one another.

The care approach emphasizes consistent caregivers, a regular daily routine, and familiar rituals to help children feel secure. Schneckenhaus recognizes each child’s individual personality, interests, needs, and pace of development. The team consists of Ulrike Schneck, a childminder, and Hanna Matson, an educator, who are mother and daughter and share a commitment to children’s development.

The organization works with the Ludwigsburg Competence Center, which provides support and information, and with the City of Marbach on placement and financial matters. Schneckenhaus is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
