Meiyo Karaté Béziers

Meiyo Karaté is a Shotokan karate club serving Béziers, Maraussan and Lignan-sur-Orb, with five dojo locations across the area. Led by technical director Nathalie Trotin, a seventh-dan black belt and DEJEPS-qualified instructor, the club offers training for children from age three, teenagers and adults, welcoming beginners as well as experienced practitioners. Its classes develop karate technique, power and discipline, and include age-specific instruction, paired applications, physical preparation and combat training.

The club also provides self-defence classes for adults and children, with sessions specifically promoting women’s self-defence and confidence. Led by a team of qualified black-belt instructors, Meiyo Karaté holds regular events, grading examinations, competitions and training workshops, giving members opportunities to learn and progress together. Classes take place during the week at sports facilities and dojos in Béziers, Maraussan and Lignan-sur-Orb. The annual season runs from September to June, and family discounts are available on membership fees. Through its programmes and activities, Meiyo Karaté combines martial-arts practice with values of respect, self-control and personal development.
