El Servicio de Protección Especializada nació en 2021 y se encarga de proteger a niños, niñas y adolescentes que fueron gravemente vulnerados en sus derechos y derivados a nuestros programas, por orden de un tribunal. Actualmente, seguimos en un proceso de transformación y rediseño completo de los programas heredados por el Servicio Nacional de Menores.

About Servicio de Protección
The Servicio de Protección Especializada, established in 2021, is dedicated to safeguarding children and adolescents whose rights have been severely compromised. Operating under the Government of Chile, the organization focuses on transforming and redesigning programs previously managed by the Servicio Nacional de Menores. Their mission is to provide tailored support through various services, including specialized clinical assessments, family strengthening initiatives, and alternative care solutions.
The service offers urgent interventions to prevent family separation, while also preparing children and teens for adoption into welcoming homes. By August 2024, they had assisted over 124,000 young individuals, demonstrating their extensive outreach across ten communes. Their programs aim to empower families and ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable youth through community collaboration and continuous improvement.
