Mekdim Ethiopia National Association (MENA) is a renowned brand dedicated to addressing the prevention of HIV/AIDS and protecting the basic needs and human rights of people living with HIV/AIDS, their families, and dependents in Ethiopia. They offer holistic care and support, education, and advocacy to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities affected by HIV/AIDS. With a vision to create a society that cares and supports PLHIV (People Living with HIV) and AIDS orphans, their goal is to contribute to a generation free of HIV/AIDS.

MENA is committed to community-based, participatory approaches that prioritize the needs of PLHIV and AIDS orphans. They strive for quality and sustainable service delivery while upholding the values of effectiveness, efficiency, ethical consideration, honesty, integrity, equitability, transparency, and accountability. MENA is currently working on several projects, including family-focused HIV care, prevention, and treatment services, the Ethiopia Social Accountability Program (ESAP3), and the Mulu Key Priority Population (MULU KPP) initiative.
