Mélanie Cullin is a Montreal-based pianist, accordionist, performer, improviser, sound creator, and actor whose work brings music into conversation with theatre, movement, and visual arts. She develops multidisciplinary and sound projects through collective creative processes and close collaboration. Her work includes Migraphonie – sans parole, an interactive musical performance in development for children aged four and up, exploring migratory movements.
Alongside her artistic practice, Cullin shares her experience through workshops, professional training, and cultural mediation. Her offerings include group improvisation sessions, where participants explore sound, rhythm, and spontaneous creation, and professional development in group pedagogy, providing music educators with playful, creative tools for teaching theoretical, technical, and musical skills.
