Eifion Griffiths and his wife Amanda took over the mill in 1986, and in 2022, they established an Employee Owned Trust to ensure the continuity of Welsh weaving traditions. This move recognizes the invaluable skills and knowledge of their dedicated staff, securing the company's success. Melin Tregwynt specializes in producing doublecloth fabrics with striking graphic designs that exude a retro, mid-century modern vibe.

They offer an extensive range of blankets, throws, and cushions, along with other delightful Welsh gifts. Visitors to their shop are warmly welcomed seven days a week, where they can browse the products and witness the clacking looms in action.
