Melissa Kalee Lasha Giving Hope Foundation

Melissa KL Giving Hope Foundation is a nonprofit established in 2020 in memory of Melissa Gamble. The organization works to support its community while fostering diversity and inclusion in the veterinary profession. It offers scholarships, community partnerships, and essential supplies and resources to help aspiring veterinary students pursue careers in veterinary medicine.

Beyond its educational work, the foundation assists individuals and families facing socioeconomic challenges by helping provide hygiene products, nutritious meals, and appropriate clothing. Its community activities include outreach for unhoused people, a back-to-school and bike giveaway, Easter events, and Lemonade for Legacy, a youth summer enrichment and entrepreneurship program. The foundation also invites community members to volunteer, sponsor programs, donate, and take part in events.

As a Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, the foundation uses charitable contributions to support its mission and improve conditions in the communities it serves.
