Melitta, a coffee-focused brand born in Dresden, Germany over 100 years ago in 1908, is known for inventing the world's first paper drip system. This innovative method of extracting coffee using paper was created by Melitta Benz, the founder of the brand, who desired to brew better-tasting coffee for her family. At that time, it was common to immerse ground coffee beans in hot water for extraction.

However, Melitta Benz challenged this conventional method and pioneered the use of paper filters to enjoy filtered coffee, revolutionizing the way we make coffee today. Since then, Melitta has developed various solutions to deliver Coffee Enjoyment, including unique single-hole filters, patented filter papers, and fully automated high-quality coffee machines for renowned establishments. Today, Melitta is recognized in over 150 countries and has been selected as the official coffee partner of England's professional soccer team, Manchester United.

Melitta Japan Limited, established in 1974 as a subsidiary, carries on the brand's legacy. With a commitment to customer satisfaction, Melitta Japan offers a wide range of household products, such as coffee makers, hand drip equipment, coffee grinders, and accessories. Whether it's for home or professional use, Melitta Japan strives to provide coffee lovers with the ultimate coffee experience.
