Mellowpark is a 60,000-square-metre sports and youth culture park in Köpenick, southeast Berlin. A joint project of all eins e.V. and Mellowpark e.V., it has provided a space for self-directed leisure and community activity since 2001. The park brings different youth cultures together and encourages young people to shape the space around their interests.
Facilities and activities include BMX and skateboarding, BMX racing, basketball, table tennis, graffiti, and areas for relaxing. Visitors can join introductory and multi-session BMX courses, girls’ workshops, seasonal race training for club members, camps, school-day programmes, and children’s birthday celebrations. The park also hosts events and offers a welcoming setting for both active sport and informal socialising.
Admission to Mellowpark is free, while use of the BMX and skate facilities requires a day or monthly pass; club members can use all sports facilities at no charge. The park is operated by its associated organisations and is located at An der Wuhlheide 256, Berlin.
