Melograno di Bologna is a social promotion association supporting women and families through pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood. Active in Italy for more than 40 years and in Bologna for over a decade, the association aims to provide reliable information, practical support and welcoming spaces where people can share their experiences without judgment. Its approach recognizes that families take many forms and that each person’s journey deserves individual attention.

Melograno offers courses and activities during pregnancy, including preparation for birth, as well as groups and support after a baby is born. Services include breastfeeding assistance, infant massage, individual consultations, opportunities for discussion and cultural initiatives. Activities are led by birth professionals, midwives, doulas, educators and experienced consultants.

The association serves people becoming parents for the first time as well as those with previous parenting experience, and welcomes diverse family situations. Its Bologna location is at Via Montebello 7, where the premises are open during courses and appointments. Information and bookings are available by phone or email.
