Il Melograno Montello

Il Melograno Montello is a nonprofit social promotion association dedicated to fostering a supportive culture of maternity, birth and early childhood. It offers women and families information, welcome and practical support, with respect for individual choices, cultural backgrounds and the natural rhythms and emotional needs surrounding birth. Its welcoming spaces are designed for parents and babies to feed, change, play and connect.

The association’s team includes midwives, peer breastfeeding counsellors, infant massage instructors, babywearing educators and other early-childhood professionals. Services span pregnancy and the postnatal period, including birth preparation, pregnancy movement and relaxation, breastfeeding support, infant massage, guidance on complementary feeding and child sleep, and help with family transitions such as returning to work. It also provides individual support in person or at home, with online options for some activities.

Additional offerings include first-aid and home and road safety courses, perineal wellbeing sessions, parent discussion groups and themed meetings. Members can access a library, a cloth-nappy lending collection and a baby-carrier library.
