Meløy Hestesportlag is a community riding club for people interested in horses and equestrian activities in Meløy and the surrounding area. Founded in 1994, the club promotes the enjoyment of riding, shared experiences and a welcoming sense of community. It has developed an equestrian facility at Reipå in Meløy municipality, including a riding hall that was completed in autumn 2013.
The facility supports the club’s active programme of riding courses with visiting instructors, several riding competitions each year and volunteer workdays. Members and other horse enthusiasts can use the club’s website to find information about membership, facility access and rental prices, rules for using the riding grounds, upcoming activities and the competition calendar. The site also features riding-hall photos, information about instructors and club leadership, and content about members’ horses.
Meløy Hestesportlag invites local riders to explore its activities and take part in the club’s events. Its main sponsor is acknowledged on the club website, which also provides contact details and links to its Facebook presence
