Memento

Memento is an experimental launchpad concept on Solana exploring “memory-native” digital assets: tokens designed to recognize holders, retain a compact history of their transactions, and adapt over time. Its central idea is to make an asset’s history part of its state, rather than leaving it only in a blockchain explorer. Memento considers how tenure, consistency, and participation might help distinguish long-term holders from recent arrivals, and how shared history could inform a token’s future behavior.

The project is organized around three principles: memory-native tokens, holder awareness, and bounded adaptation. Potential behaviors and parameter changes are intended to remain transparent and within clear limits. Memento is also examining practical design questions, including which events are worth recording, how memory can remain affordable, what rules should be allowed to evolve, and how holders can verify and understand an asset’s history.

Memento describes itself as a research launchpad first. The platform is prelaunch and not yet open; its site presents ideas and a live simulation rather than an available product.
