Memero is a Polish service that helps families preserve and share the stories of loved ones who have died. Its main product is an acrylic plaque bearing a QR code, designed to be placed on a grave and withstand different weather conditions. Scanning the code with a smartphone opens the person’s online memorial profile, where visitors can view photographs, read life stories and memories, and learn about important events, family ancestry, hobbies, and interests.
Users create a profile through Memero’s platform, answering prompts that help generate a written biography. They can edit the text and add or update photos and other information over time. Profiles can also be found through the website’s search function, without scanning the plaque’s code.
Memero offers free account registration and two payment options: a one-time payment of 210 zł, which includes the plaque and ten years of account access, or a subscription costing 7.90 zł per month, with a minimum term of 24 months and the option to cancel afterward.
