Mem.CtrFarmersMarket

Memorial Centre Farmers’ Market is a community market in Kingston, Ontario, bringing local food producers and shoppers together at the Kingston Memorial Centre. Founded in 2012 by local farmers and the Williamsville Community Association, the market was created to improve access to local food and enliven the Memorial Centre grounds. It offers visitors a place to meet farmers and craft producers, discover seasonal foods, and learn more about local agriculture and eating in season.

The market operates every Sunday throughout the year, rain or shine, at 303 York Street. From May through October, it is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; from November through April, hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Its website helps visitors explore vendors, learn how to become a vendor, and find information about special events, holiday schedules, waste reduction, and market guidelines, including a guide for bringing dogs. The market also welcomes community involvement through volunteer and sponsorship opportunities, and shares updates through its newsletters and social channels.
